After traveling up a long and winding private road in the hills of Geyserville you will arrive at a country home perched in the wooded hills above Alexander Valley with vast views of vineyards and the coastal mountain range. Valley View Retreat is a private, secluded get away perfect for a family or couples gathering.
Set on 30 wooded acres, the charming home offers an expansive salt water swimming pool, hot tub, gas burning fire pit table, bocce ball court, barbecue, hiking paths, and trampoline for the kids. The 3 bedroom 2 bath country home has every amenity with a chef’s kitchen, big screen tv, and Nana walls surrounding the great room to bring the outside in.

GREAT ROOM
The kitchen is designed for the professional chef with a Subzero refrigerator, 2 dishwashers, Wolf oven and stovetop with griddle, 2 wine refrigerators, Blendtec blender, Cutco knives, All Clad and Le Creuset cookware. A beautiful butcher block island is the center piece of the kitchen providing ample space for food prep and gathering.
The farm style dining room table seats 8 with 2 surrounding Nana walls. One Nana opens to the stone patio toward the pool and hills of Coyote Ridge while the other opens to the deck and views of Alexander Valley and coastal mountain range. The kitchen, dining, and family room are an open great room design with vaulted wood ceilings.
The family room offers a cozy sectional sofa, fireplace, and a 63” plasma tv which is visible from anywhere in the great room.
BEDROOMS
All the bedrooms offer top of the line mattresses and bedding for supreme comfort.
The MASTER BEDROOM is a spacious room with a California King bed and southwesterly views of the coastal mountain range and vineyards. The master bath has 2 sinks, magnified make up mirror, heated floors, and a large glass enclosed shower with a rain shower head.
GUEST BEDROOM #1 offers a queen bed. GUEST BEDROOM #2 offers 2 twin beds. The guest bedrooms share a bathroom with a spacious shower.
THE EXTERIOR
The swimming pool is 60 feel long and ranges in depth from 3.5-9 feet with a bocce ball court running alongside it. The solar heated pool has a motorized cover to keep it warm and clean. It is equipped with a hot tub, diving board, and basket ball hoop. Choose to either bask in the sun poolside or escape the sun under the comforts of the trellis.
The upper deck off the great room overlooking Alexander Valley has 4 cozy glider chairs and ottomans with a retractable canopy overhead for sun protection. A round 4 person table and chairs sit in the corner of the deck. Either the rocking chairs or round table are perfect spots to enjoy morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. You can easily keep a watchful eye on the pool from the deck if kids are taking a swim.
Off the dining room in the back of the house is a stone patio with a built in gas barbecue, teak dining table seating up to 8 and a gas burning fire pit table surrounded by 2 comfy sofas.
Weather watching is particularly fun at Valley View. Some mornings you may see the valley covered in a blanket of fog and then watch it slowly recede or possibly blow up to Coyote Ridge. Rest assured we are always sunny by late morning in the summer months. You may watch a storm roll in during the winter or spring months. In the very early hours during summer you may spot hot air balloons peppering the sky over Alexander Valley. July 4th is special at Valley View with fireworks visible from the deck. No need to go into town and fight the crowds!
With 30 acres of land you are free to explore. There are 2 short hikes on the property. Pack a picnic and hike up into the hills behind the house for an extraordinary top of the world view of Alexander Valley and Dry Creek. For a more modest hike there is a short woodsy trail behind the swimming pool. Either hike is a wonderful way to start or end the day at Valley View.
